Microsoft Office applications, used in most schools, can be enabled to allow the use of non-Roman scripts for a range of languages. Other products, sometimes free, also allow this. Make sure that your network manager is aware of the possibilities by referring him or her to the Setting up your PC section.
The downloadable file on school facilities offers advice on a range of technologies that teachers can use for teaching and learning, many of which are not complicated by non-Roman script issues. There are also suggestions for getting round common technical problems and for teachers working in a supplementary/complementary school setting.
